Chapter 4: Classroom Management aur Discipline

Classroom management ka matlab ye nahi hai ki bacche bilkul chup-chaap baithein. Ek acchi pre-primary class wahi hai jahan "Healthy Noise" ho—yani bacche seekhte waqt baatein karein, lekin ek discipline ke daira mein rahein.
1. Classroom ka Layout (Baithne ka Tarika)
Classroom ki banawat aisi honi chahiye ki teacher har bacche par nazar rakh sake:
- U-Shape Sitting: Teacher beech mein hoti hai aur sab bacche samne. Isse har bacche ko lagta hai ki teacher sirf usey dekh rahi hai.
- Activity Centers: Class mein alag kone hone chahiye—Reading Corner, Toy Corner, aur Art Corner.
2. Routine aur Transition (Rozana ka Niyam)
Chhote bacchon ko "Routine" pasand hota hai. Agar unhe pata hai ki kab khana hai aur kab khelna hai, toh wo kam pareshan karte hain.
Transition Signal Example
"Chalo baccho, jab main 1-2-3 bolungi aur clap karungi, sab apni books bag mein rakhenge." Isse bacche bina kisi hadbadi ke activity badalna seekhte hain.
3. Positive Discipline (Bina Gussa Kiye Shanti)
AIINTT curriculum ke mutabiq, pre-primary mein saza (Punishment) dena sakht mana hai. Hum Positive Reinforcement ka istemal karte hain:
- Praise the Right Behavior: Shor machane wale ko dantne ke bajaye, chup baithe bacche ki tareef karein. Dusre bacche usey dekh kar khud discipline mein aane ki koshish karenge.
- The "Stop" Hand Signal: Chillane ke bajaye sirf hath uthakar silent signal dena zyada asardar hota hai.
4. Classroom Management Techniques
A. Eye Contact aur Voice Control:
Agar class mein shor ho, toh chillayein nahi. Dheere se (Whispering) bolna shuru karein. Bacche utsukta mein apne aap chup ho jayenge ki teacher kya keh rahi hai.
B. The "Golden Rules" Chart:
Class mein simple rules lagayein: Walking Feet, Listening Ears, Helping Hands, aur Quiet Mouth.

5. Dealing with Difficult Situations
Situation: Tantrums (Gussa Dikhana)
Agar baccha zameen par lait kar roye, toh usey dantein nahi. Usey thodi der "Time-out" (shant kona) dein aur kahein, "Jab aap shant ho jaoge, tab hum baat karenge." Isse wo emotions control karna seekhega.
Situation: Biting or Hitting (Maarna)
Sakhti se (par bina gussa kiye) kahein: "Nahi! Kaatne se dard hota hai. Hum haathon ka use dosti ke liye karte hain, chot pahunchane ke liye nahi".
